Dunny put this photo up on The Original Winger today in our Soccer in America series and it just seems to work for me right now. I dig the composition and the desaturated colors. It has an incredible vintage feel about it that I find very inspiring.

Inter Milan v Tottenham Highlights – Champions League

Wednesday, October 20th, 2010

Inter Milan got out to a quick 4-0 lead against Tottenham in the Champions League and looked to be absolutely cruising. But a gutsy performance by Spurs and an amazing effort from Gareth Bale saw Spurs scratch their way back into the game, earn some pride back and almost rescue a point. A hat trick from Bale was not quite enough and Inter Milan hung on for the 4-3 win.

J.D. McPherson – North Side Gal

Tuesday, October 19th, 2010

Every once in awhile you get an email that is not only unexpected but also equally refreshing. Tonight was one of those times. We got an email hipping us to a video for a band called J.D. McPherson that featured the singer and bass player wearing Bumpy Pitch shirts.

Vintage recording equipment, beautiful camera work, a unique sound and passionate musicians. There is nothing not to like about J.D. McPherson and their sound. Plus they have some incredible taste in t-shirts (yes, that was a shameless plug).

Much respect to the fellas for their support, and congrats on a great song and fantastic video. Check out more from the band at Hi-Style Records.

Mac Rocking Fall River Marksmen On It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia

It was “Mac’s Big Break” last night on It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia and he was repping our Fall River Marksmen pretty much throughout the whole show.

And not the first time…..

Chelsea v Arsenal Highlights – English Premier League

Sunday, October 3rd, 2010

Chelsea continue to show that they are the most in form team in England. They also happened to score two absolutely amazing goals today. Didier Drogba continues to show his class, and Alex looked like he was trying to peel the leather off the ball with the amount of pace and swerve he put on the ball. It’s getting very difficult to believe that any team other than Chelsea will win the league this year.

Cesc Fabregas Goal Against Sunderland – English Premier League

Saturday, September 18th, 2010

I’m going to go out on a limb here and say that this will end up being one of the most interesting / luckiest / random goals that Cesc Fabregas will end up scoring in his career. It doesn’t matter how they go in, all that matters is that they go in.

Back At It

Monday, September 13th, 2010

Been away from the blog for a minute. I can try and give a lot of reasons why, but I’m going to stay away from all the excuses, and just get back to it. So the Bumpy Pitch blog is officially back on the market.

Since we last spoke a lot has been going down. I’ll start breaking all that down shortly and get everyone caught up on some of the latest happenings. I think you will all be happy with some of the new products we are currently working on and some of the upcoming releases that are in the pipeline. In the meantime, the $20 World Cup sale is still on, although there is very little product left. If there is a World Cup shirt you want, I would suggest picking one up before they are officially gone for good.
