Three years ago we had the opportunity to work with the Chicago Fire on a t-shirt that celebrated the 15th year of the club. It was great to get to play a part in the celebration of the club and we were lucky enough to get to do it again this year.
To celebrate the 18th anniversary of the club, we had another opportunity to work with the Fire in creating a new t-shirt that pays tribute to the history of the club while subtly playing off of what lies in the future for the club.
We’ll let the Fire tell you a bit about the design and idea behind this shirt:

Game in and game out, they’re the words that rain down from the Harlem End with passion and pride. Over the years, many a supporter and visiting player have no doubt exited Toyota Park with those words melodically imprinted in their memory, leaving an indelible mark on their matchday experience. It’s a declaration and a self-affirmation worthy of refrain.

And here, in the latest Bumpy Pitch effort inspired by the Men In Red, those colors are boldly emblazoned beneath the representation of our city’s history in four stars — the second of which forever recalls the event that inspired our great club’s foundation.

Celebrate 18 years of our club’s proud tradition and thriving community, and look ahead to a forthcoming iteration of our club’s colors that promises to connect our past and present.
These limited edition shirts will be available at the Chicago Fire 18th Anniversary Celebration on Thursday (Oct. 8) at Toyota Park or at the Fire Fan Shop while supplies last.
