Nike recently released the latest CR7 badged Mercurial boot dubbed "Cut to Brilliance." As part of plan around the release, Ronaldo's former Manchester United teammate - Rio Ferdinand - headed to Madrid to sit down with CR7 and chat about a variety of topics. They touched on his arrival in Madrid, his work ethic, and Ronaldo's love of Mercurial boots.
One thing that I really enjoyed about this interview was how open Ronaldo was with Rio. There is a difference in comfort levels for Ronaldo to be interviewed by a former teammate than by a journalist and it showed here. Rio did a good job with this and we see a different Ronaldo here than we normally do in interviews.
